Q. When and where do the Beaver Valley Artists meet?With some exceptions the BVA meets at 7pm, on the second Thursday of September, November, February, March and April, at the Merrick Art Gallery, New Brighton, PA. The October meeting is held on a Wednesday. |
Q. Are visitors welcome to attend a BVA meeting?Yes, visitors are welcome to attend BVA meetings and programs. If you like what you see please support the BVA by becoming a member. |
Q. Must my artwork be screened and accepted by the BVA, in order for me to become a BVA member?No. There is no screening. Artists of all skill levels are accepted into the BVA. |
Q. Do members pay annual dues?Yes. Members are encourages to join or renew every September. Membership is $20/individual or $25/family. After November, there will be an additional late fee of $5. |
Q. Who is eligible to enter BVA's Annual Valley Artists Exhibition?All members in good standing may exhibit at least one piece of artwork in the BVA annual show, in accordance to the rules of the prospectus. Exhibitors must have attended at least two BVA meetings prior to the exhibition's entry date of that BVA year to be eligible for a show award. |
