BVA Events Calendar 2011-2012

Thursday, February, 9th, 2012 -- Beaver Valley Artists Meeting -- Time 7 pm at Merrick Art Gallery, 5th Ave and 11th street, New Brighton, PA. The public is welcome to attend. Admission is free.

Program -- BVA Members' Artwork Critique. Members are encouraged to bring one to three pieces of their artwork, finished or un-finished, to the meeting for a friendly, shared peer review.

Thursday, March 8th, 2012 -- Beaver Valley Artists Meeting -- Time 7 pm at Merrick Art Gallery, New Brighton, PA.

Program: -- BVA members' figure drawing session with live model posing in Civil War uniform.

Thursday, April 12th, 2012 -- Beaver Valley Artists Meeting -- Time 7 pm at Merrick Art Gallery, New Brighton, PA.

Beaver Valley Artists 35th Annual Exhibition, April 22nd, 2012 -- Opening Reception: Sunday April 22nd, 2012, 1 - 4 pm, at the Merrick Art Gallery, 5th Ave and 11th street, New Brighton. PA. The public is invited to attend. Admission is free.

Entry date and delivery time for BVA member's artwork is set for Thursday, April 12th, from 6 pm to 7 pm only before the regular meeting.. Thursday, May 10th, 2012 -- Juror's critique, 7 pm at the Merrick Gallery, 5th Ave and 11th Street, New Brighton. The public is welcome to attend. Admission is free.

The program will be a critique of the BVA annual show by the show juror.

Become a Member of the Beaver Valley Artists

Membership is open to all artists of various skill levels in all media. There is no screening of artist's artwork to join. All members may exhibit in the Beaver Valley Artists Annual Exhibition. Membership renewal or new member's registration fee is discounted ($5 off) between April and November 2011, current fee $20 individual, $25 family, Mail check payable to: Beaver Valley Artists, to: Jane Cerilli, 1127 Indiana Ave., Monaca, PA 15061

When and Where We Meet

With some exceptions the Beaver Valley Artists meet at 7pm on the second Thursday of September, November, February, March and April at the renowned Merrick Art Gallery, 1100 Fifth Avenue, New Brighton, PA 15066. The October BVA meeting is now held on a Wednesday, the day before the second Thursday of that month. Visit the BVA website for any possible meeting date changes.

Notice -- The BVA does not hold general meetings nor demonstration programs for the months of May, June, July, August, December and Januray. .
