Kathleen Bischak paints with acrylics and oils. Most recently, she has been working "plein-air." Since time is precious and fleeting, capturing a moment of beauty is a way of relaxing and appreciating life. The fragile nature of the landscape is a source of inspiration . She has worked in other mediums, most notably fiber. She teaches art at Evans City Middle School and has taught art privately.
Kathleen also paints portraits of people and houses. She is influenced by the Impressionists, and most recently studied with Joe Sweeney. She has a BS in art education from Edinboro State College and an ME with credits from Kutztown University and University of the Arts in Philadelphia.
